How to maintain yoga mats in winter

Friends who do yoga know that it is a headache to clean the Yoga Mat every time after doing yoga. Washing with detergent is afraid of skin allergies, and washing with water is not clean, and there is always a smell after opening the next day. It was uncomfortable to lie on it for exercise every time, and I always felt unclean.

Ordinary simple cleaning, you can use two cups of water and 4 drops of dishwashing liquid into the sprayer, spray the Yoga mat, and then dry it with a dry cloth.

If your yoga mat is very dirty, then it is recommended that you wash our yoga mat with soapy water, and then rinse it with clean water.

Please note that the less lotion the better, because any residue will make the yoga mat slippery in the future. And after scrubbing the mat with a damp cloth, be sure to rinse it off. It is best to roll up the yoga mat with a large dry towel, soak up the excess water, and let it dry in the shade. Do not expose it to the sun, which will damage the mat.

Another good way is to buy a yoga towel and spread it on top of the mat. Just wash the towel when it gets dirty, which is very convenient. And it absorbs sweat in summer and keeps warm in winter.

Yoga practitioners, treat your yoga supplies well. When you go to the yoga studio to practice, you will have a more pleasant mood and you can practice yoga more comfortably and safely.

When you open the yoga mat every day to do yoga, your mat will be like a fresh lotus leaf, giving you the most natural and pure world.

Yoga teacher suggested:

To ensure hygiene, it is best to clean the yoga mat every other week.

The maintenance of rubber yoga mat

1. If you buy a yoga mat, it is often used but never maintained. The dust and sweat accumulated on the surface of the yoga mat will eventually endanger the health of the owner, so it is necessary to clean the yoga mat frequently.

Yoga mats that are not cleaned may contain bacteria, fungi and dust mites. Among them, the bacteria can cause folliculitis, and the fungus can easily cause tinea corporis and athlete's foot. The biggest threat of dust mites to people with allergies is to induce allergic dermatitis and asthma.

2. To ensure hygiene, it is best to clean it every other week. The easiest way to clean a yoga mat is to mix two drops of detergent with four bowls of water, spray it on the yoga mat, and then wipe it with a dry cloth.

If the yoga mat is very dirty, you can also use a cloth dipped in washing powder to gently wipe the yoga mat, then rinse it with clean water, and then use a dry towel to roll up the yoga mat to absorb the excess water. Finally, dry the yoga mat.

3. If the yoga mat is very dirty, fill the bathtub with cold water, and then add washing powder. The less detergent, the better, because any residue will make the yoga mat slippery in the future. Then wipe the mat with a damp cloth and rinse it clean. Roll up the yoga mat with a large dry towel to absorb excess water. Let go to dry.

It should be noted that the amount of washing powder should be as small as possible, because once the washing powder remains on the yoga mat, the yoga mat may become slippery.
