Yoga can improve people's psychology, physiology, spirit and emotions. Yoga mats are essential for doing yoga, and the cleaning of yoga mats is very important, and it must be cleaned properly in combination with materials. So how to clean the Yoga mat correctly?

1. The choice of detergent
Natural rubber yoga mats are also made of natural materials and are easy to decompose. Therefore, they cannot be cleaned with acid and alkali detergents. Be careful when choosing detergents. If it is not particularly dirty, it is best to use clean water, moisten it with a towel, wipe it gently, and then dry.

TPE and PVC yoga mats are not easy to decompose. You can use a small amount of mild detergent or light soapy water to dilute with water, then wipe it with a soft towel soaked in water, and then wipe it with clean water to dry.

2. No matter what kind of yoga mat, there are the following cleaning steps:
a. Prepare a basin of water and a clean towel. Add the detergent to the water and stir evenly. Note that the amount of detergent should not be too much to avoid damage to the yoga mat.
b. Put a clean towel into the water to soak it, and then twist it as dry as possible, because the more you twist it, the less detergent will eventually remain on the yoga mat.
c. Gently wipe all corners of the yoga mat with a wrung towel to ensure that the dirt is cleaned. Wipe the front side of the yoga mat first, and then wipe the back side. The order should not be chaotic.
d. Pour out the water with detergent and wash the basin with clean water to avoid residual detergent on the basin. Then change to clean water, repeat the second and third steps above to clean the detergent remaining on the yoga mat, and then wipe off the water.
e. After the cleaning work is completed, put the yoga mat in a ventilated and dry yard to dry. Be careful not to expose it to the sun to prevent the yoga mat from cracking due to the high temperature.
f. Put the cleaned yoga mat into the Yoga Strap, fasten it and put it away. It is recommended to clean the yoga mat every week to prevent the growth of bacteria from causing unnecessary damage to the feet.
